Software for dodgeball clubs: kit orders, payments and player progress

dodgehub started in a dodgeball club, and it still shows. It covers the admin that comes with a dodgeball season: team jerseys, hoodies, tournament merch, money that needs chasing and players who want to know how they are improving.

Born in a dodgeball club

dodgehub was not designed in a boardroom. It was built by a dodgeball player who got tired of being the person who organises the club's hoodies every season. The first version solved one problem for one club. Then it was kept generic enough for other clubs to use too, and it grew from there.

Today the app is used by dodgeball clubs and organisations across Europe, including Tyrol Turtles, Dodgeball Luxembourg and the German Dodgeball Association. That does not make it a giant platform. It is still a small, independent project, so the person reading your feature request is the person who builds it.

The dodgeball season, admin edition

A dodgeball club's year follows a rhythm, and so does its admin. Here is how that rhythm maps onto dodgehub:

  • Pre-season: the kit order

Open a session for the new playing jerseys with size, name and number fields, and let new players join through the club's join link. Learn more about the club shop.

  • In-season: merch and tournaments

Run a short hoodie or fan-shirt round before a home tournament and let supporters buy through a guest link. See guest and external orders.

  • Ongoing: payments

Track who has paid for each round and send one reminder to everyone who has not. Read about tracking member payments.

  • Mid and end of season: evaluations

Run committee evaluations, show radar charts and give players written feedback with the progress tracker.

Tournament weekends and travelling squads

Dodgeball is a tournament sport, and tournaments create their own admin: matching shirts for the travelling squad, merch to sell on the day, and a stack of small payments. Because an order session has a hard deadline, you can time a round to close before the supplier's cut-off for a tournament, and the totals by product tell you exactly what to order.

If your club sends several teams, for example a men's, women's and mixed squad, product fields such as size and number are collected per player, and managers can filter the order list by session to keep the squads apart.

Recreational and competitive players in the same club

Many dodgeball clubs mix newcomers who come for the social side with competitive players who train for national and international events. dodgehub accommodates both. Everyone can order from the club shop and see their own orders, while the progress tracker can be limited to the people who want to be evaluated: members can be hidden from the tracker roster without leaving the club, and visibility of results is configured by the club.

What dodgehub does not do for dodgeball

To keep expectations realistic: dodgehub does not schedule matches, generate tournament brackets, keep league tables or handle membership fees. Those jobs belong in the tools your league or tournament organiser already uses. dodgehub focuses on what happens around the court: ordering, paying, joining and developing.

Built for the volunteers who run the club

Dodgeball clubs run on people who have day jobs. That is why the app is available in English, German, French and Spanish, works on a phone at the side of the court and lets you hand over responsibilities cleanly: one owner, managers who run the shop and members who order. If you want the big picture, see the overview of dodgeball club management software or compare all features.

Frequently asked questions

Is dodgehub used by real dodgeball clubs?

Yes. Tyrol Turtles, Dodgeball Luxembourg and the German Dodgeball Association are among the clubs and organisations that run shops and orders on dodgehub.

Can several teams in one club use it?

Yes. Orders are collected per session with fields for each player, and the order list can be filtered by session and by member or guest channel. One account can also belong to several clubs.
